What is rewire?
rewire is a social-events app that helps you discover and host real-world events with people who share your interests. The whole idea is to get you off the feed and back into the room — less scrolling, more showing up.
Is it free?
Yes. It's free to create an account, free to RSVP to events, and free to host your own.
Where is rewire available?
rewire is in soft launch across Australia right now — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Barcelona is next, then city by city. If you're somewhere we haven't opened yet, join the waitlist on our home page and we'll email you the moment we do.
Is rewire on Android?
Not yet. rewire is iPhone only for now — you can download it from the App Store today. Android is coming soon; join the waitlist on our home page and we'll email you the day it lands.
Do I need the app?
Yes — rewire lives on your phone, where your plans do. This website is for discovering what rewire is (and event links your friends share will still open here first). The app is on the iPhone App Store now, with Android coming soon.
How do I sign in to the app?
Two ways, no password to remember. Enter your email and we'll send you a 6-digit code, or use Continue with Apple. That's it.
How is rewire different from other social apps?
Most social apps are designed to keep you watching. rewire is designed to get you somewhere — every core feature ends with you at a place, with people, at a time. There's no infinite feed engineered to hold your attention.
How do I host an event?
In the app: tap create and follow the short guided flow — the vibe, when, where, and the details. Add a cover photo and you're live. You can open the event to your whole city, keep it invite-only, or approve requests one by one. Hosting is free.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your data is stored securely, you get granular privacy controls over your profile and events, and you can export or delete your data at any time from the app. Read the full details in our privacy policy.
How old do I need to be to use rewire?
You need to be at least 16 years old to use rewire.
Ready to get back into the room?
rewire is free and out now on iPhone, in soft launch across Australia. Android is coming soon.
